Welcome

Billings First and Billings Trinity Churches of the Nazarene have recently merged. The newly merged congregation is currently meeting at 805 Alderson, but plans are in the works for relocating to the Heights mid-summer. Great things are happening as we watch God move among us. We're in the process of selecting a new name, discovering a new mission statement and seeing how God would have us reach out in the name of Jesus. These are very exciting days! Everyone is invited to stop by and see what God is doing!

We are proud of our heritage as a holiness church, and continue to preach and live according to the Scriptural teachings on holiness. Throughout Scripture, we hear God call us to "Be holy for I am holy." It is not always easy to live a holy lifesdf in an unholy world, but Jesus reminds us that we are to be "in the world not of it."

"Billings Church of the Nazarene exists to glorify God by fulfilling the great commission. We are committed to developing disciples who live in obedience to all that Jesus taught and fully understand our need for baptism by the Holy Spirit. With Jesusdfdfs as our example and God's grace as our means, we strive to develop Christians who are reflections of His life."

This mission statement, adopted by the church in 2006, serves to remind us that our call to holiness has not diminished over the years, and it encourages us to live lives that are lead by the Holy Spirit.

Our motto is a very tidy way to sumasdf up our mission statement, "Being Disciples. Making Disciples." We believe that we are each called to live our lives as disciples of Christ. A disciple is one that longs to be like his or her teacher, one that not only wants to know what the teacher knows, but wants to be, act, and live like the teacher. That is dwhat Jesus says God expects of His children.ss

According to the great commission, we are to be about the business of making more disciples, so our motto reminds us that we need to be busy in the work of the Father, spreading the good news about Jesus. It is our belief that you cannot teach someone what you do not know. In order to make a disciple, I must first be one.asdf

This relationship of actively being a disciple and actively making disciples enables us to interact with our friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers with the love, compassion, mercy, and forgiveness of Christ. It is our prayer that when you see us, you see Christ.

We invite you to join us as we worship God and grow together.dfef
